One healthy tub teaches more than three sick ones. Start small, measure everything, and grow when your colony asks for it.

How it works

01

Tell us your case

You answer a few short questions: where you’ll raise them, what for and your climate. With that the course builds your path.

02

Learn

One lesson a week, 10 to 15 minutes. Each one tells you how it’s done at your scale: tub, room or micro-farm.

03

Raise and log

Each lesson brings a practice for the week. Your batch log is saved in the portal and only you see it.

Questions

Are crickets plant protein?

No. They are animal protein, from insects. It is complete, but of medium quality: its DIAAS is 61 %, against 91 % for milk casein.

Can I keep them inside the house?

One tub, yes, away from bedrooms. Rearing dust can cause allergies when breathed in, and people allergic to shellfish or mites may react. Lesson 2 tells you how to protect yourself.

Can I eat the crickets I raise?

Yes, at home, with the process in lesson 10: fasting, boiling and drying. Selling them as food requires paperwork, covered in lesson 12.

Will it work for my climate?

Yes. The course distinguishes the humid tropics, the highlands and the dry north, and tells you when you need heat or humidity control.
